Project background :
The client is a real estate agency company in Taiwan, they are currently developing the sidewalk for the
Taipei City, we hope this system can be less manual as passable, please help to develop software for client to find the road and make his work easier
*Project: Extraction and Organization of Map Data from Taipei Historical Map
System**
**Project Overview:**
Seeking a GIS analyst or data processor to extract data from Taipei’s historical
map platform. The project involves structuring this data in Excel, identifying
specific regions and land distributions, and adding annotations to enhance
clarity and accuracy.
**Key Project Requirements:**
1. **Data Extraction and Layer Selection**:
- Access Taipei’s historical map platform.( 台北歷史圖資) ( please use chinese map)
- Select layers such as road sections, area maps (mark road areas in white),
cadastral maps, public/private land distributions, terrain maps, and 2023 terrain
map (exclude grid lines).
2. **Data Visualization and Customization**:
- Adjust layer transparencies: area map (10%), land distribution (40%).
- Organize maps based on road segments from intersections to intersections.
3. **Identify and Label Specific Areas**:
- Identify areas surrounded by government land, labeled as “Diamond,”
“Gold,” and “Silver” zones based on land characteristics ( in excel file ) (total will
be 3 excel file in this case )
4. **Export and Organize Data in Excel**:
- Export map data, such as land numbers and area types, with links or notes
to reference specific regions.
5. ** Review and Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct manual checks to ensure data accuracy and client alignment.
6. **Further Data Organization**:
- Consolidate simple existing alleys in Taipei districts based on land number
classifications.
**Skills Required:**
- Proficiency in GIS tools and historical map platforms.
- Expertise in data extraction, layer manipulation, and visualization.
- Excel proficiency for creating clickable links or comments.
**Deliverables**:
- Structured Excel file with land numbers, area types, and distribution details.

3. Any preferred format for screenshots or PDFs? Follow Excel template for
embedding.
4. Naming preferences for land numbers in Excel? Label files as “Diamond,”
“Gold,” and “Silver,” producing three Excel files.

Key point is : the white or yellow spot is around the color
For example :
road 964 is white land and around the color, so he is diamond
( this is the land we want )
Key point for picture 2 :
This is the white spot but in the meddle but one side get block , please help me to take a “notes “ for this too ~
( as you can see yellow is around white land , around yellow land meaning is building , you should be able to find a number : 402-6 ) , pull out but help me to add the notes say “ one side or other side get block ) ( this can be diamond too )
follow by the logic, this should be the one we use, “ but “ this road is not the road we want, As you can see, 1. the yellow road 34-5, has a lot of road numbers around it, we don’t want this road because near by is building
The land we Don’t want
Diamond example again:
as you can see this road number 19 is the diamond we wants .
The Land number only 1 number without “-“ dash
above road number is 172 & 173 , this will be our Gold road ( 2 road link together )
Above is example 2 : in the same road , has 2 numbers on it ! we call this our “GOLD land “
Example 3 : 1 number in the big road ( is Diamon for us )
GOLD Example and possibility :
number : 328 & 330 near by the same road , it has 2 number on it
Silver is 3 number together in the same road or close road :
Pink: Taiwan government -owned land
Blue: Owned by Taipei City
Orange: Co-owned by Taipei City and the state
Light Blue: Owned by Taipei City, state-owned, and co-owned with other government agencies
Light Purple: Owned by Taipei City and co-owned with non-state government agencies
Green: Owned by other government agencies
Yellow: Co-owned by public and private entities
White: Privately owned

orange : belong to taipei + taiwan govement
