Comprehensive Digitization and Indexing of Records

I am seeking a professional individual to digitize and index approximately 316 banker’s boxes of paper records from three NRCB regional offices (Red Deer, Lethbridge, and Morinville). The project requires adherence to CAN/CGSB-72.34-2024 Electronic Records as Documentary Evidence Standards. Each box contains around 2,000 pages. Key Responsibilities: A. Transportation of the records from the offices. B. Validation of the records to ensure completeness and accuracy. C. Preparation of the records to get them ready for scanning. D. Scanning of the documents at 400 dpi. E. Consistent sorting and naming of the files according to the naming conventions provided by the NRCB. F. Appropriate return to NRCB of the digitized files. G. Reconstruction or disposition of the paper records as required. H. Implementing audit and quality control processes to ensure records have been appropriately digitized. I. Establishing a process to return any records to the NRCB that are urgently needed. The success of this project hinges on: - Consistency in file naming and sorting - Thorough validation and quality control - Proper reconstruction or disposition of paper records I will need regular access to the digital files during the digitization process. The preferred format for the digitized files is PDF. Ideal candidates for this project should have: - Extensive experience in document digitization and indexing - Familiarity with CAN/CGSB-72.34-2024 standards - Excellent quality control skills - Ability to transport and handle large volumes of records.
