Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled freelance web developer to create a simple, functional web app for managing a Super Bowl prop betting game. This app will streamline participant submissions, automate scoring, and display live standings during the game. The project has a strict delivery timeline, as it must be ready for final deployment by 8 February 2025, ahead of Super Bowl LIX on 9 February 2025.
Key Features
Game Commissioner Tools:
Secure login to access an admin dashboard.
Create and manage proposition questions (typed in-app or uploaded via CSV/XLS).
Lock submissions at a designated time.
Validate participant payments and track a visible pot total.
Input game event results to dynamically update scores and standings.
Participant Tools:
Secure login with name and email.
View and submit answers to prop questions via a simple form.
Edit answers until submissions are locked.
View live standings ranked by score during the game.
Other Requirements:
Responsive design optimized for mobile use.
Export function to archive game data (optional if it impacts the timeline).
Secure backend to handle participant and game data efficiently.
Deliverables
A fully functional web app with all required features.
Commissioner credentials and documentation for managing the app.
Source code with clear comments for future development.
Bug fixes and a smooth operational app by the final delivery deadline: 8 February 2025.
