RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate content writer to help us create our company's image. You will be responsible for writing content materials to be used in our Home page, About Us, Product page and FAQs page. You will work closely with our Marketing Director to formulate content and implement our brand image vision and strategies.
Becoming very comfortable with writing in the Smart Seating brand voice. Gaining a deep understanding of our strategies. Researching copy angles, gathering social/scientific proof and understanding market messaging. Understanding our audiences’ wants, needs, and pain points.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fluent spoken and written English.
3+ years proven work experience as a copywriter, product writer, content writer or similar role.
Direct experience in direct response digital copywriting is a plus (preference for those with targeted experience in the Home Theater Seating niche).
Portfolio of published sales pages, landing pages, content or email campaigns.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
Superior attention to detail, self-motivated, resourceful, and a creative problem solver.
Strong conceptual and brainstorming skills.
Writes with originality, personality and style and has strong storytelling/creative writing skills
Thrives and adapts in a fast-paced startup environment.
Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to follow directions and give/take constructive criticism.
