Who you are We are seeking an experienced drafting person in duplex design to draw concept plans for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) in NSW, Australia. We are looking for someone to collaborate long term and assist in more projects in the future. What you’ll do We need concept plans for an attached duplex design that complies with Australian building standards and the Livable Housing Design Guidelines (which will be provided). The plans should include sketches, diagrams, and other necessary information to adequately explain the concept for approval. We are an established business in NSW and are looking to outsource some of our work to someone reliable and diligent, who is looking for a long term working relationship. How you’ll do it You will work with initial project specs to develop concept drawings. You should be proficient in ArchiCAD 27 and have a solid understanding of the Australian Standards and National Construction Code. Experience with duplex designs is a must and we will need the ArchiCAD source files. Skills: - Must be proficient in ArchiCAD 27 - Experience with Australian building standards - NCC of Australia - Knowledge of duplex design and relevant regulations in NSW Bonus Skills: - Rendering skills - Complying Development process knowledge Perks: - Opportunity for repeat work on future projects - Gain valuable experience in the Australian market and regulations - Long-term potential if the collaboration is successful
