Contest Brief

I'm looking for a skilled video editor to help tidy up some video interviews for The Accommodation Show podcast. This first video will serve as a competition to find the best fit for ongoing work.

What I'm Looking For:

A clean, engaging edit of a single episode, using the existing basic edit as a starting point.

Removal of unnecessary filler words (ums, ahs, etc.) to improve flow.

Potential zoom-ins on the speaker to enhance engagement.

No captions required for this round.

Future Work & Pay Structure:

I have a high volume of episodes and reels to produce, so I need to stay within budget while ensuring quality. Here's what I can offer:

Podcast Episodes:

Riverside episodes (20-45 mins): $35 AUD per episode + a $5 AUD bonus if it outperforms our average engagement. We produce about 40-50 episodes per year.

On-site episodes: $45 AUD per episode (due to higher complexity, a 30% override is applied). Expect about 10-40 episodes per year.

Reels:

30-second reels: $15 AUD

1-minute reels: $20 AUD

2-minute reels: $25 AUD

We typically create 2-5 reels per month, with a $5 AUD bonus for any reel that exceeds our average engagement.

Short Talking Head Videos (More Effort Required):

5 minutes: $40 AUD

10 minutes: $50 AUD

20 minutes: $60 AUD
