Client wanted to renovate a flat in an old residential tower. Due to the proper height, the addition of various mezzanines which were suspended of the ceiling and walls were considered in the architectural design. Also, a small pool was designed on the top of the parking area. The structure with a dual system of moment frame and shear wall had good capabilities to do this. The challenge of the project was elegance and how to connect the micro structures to the main structure.
