Researching Alternative Design of Existing Multi-Span Prestressed Concrete Curved Bridge
National Technical University of Athens
This new girder will consist of a prestressed continuous deck, of a single-cell box section, of variable cross-section. After the brief description of the existing structure, the analysis of the pathology, and the calculation of the dimensions of the box cross-section according to the American regulations will be carried out, followed by the transverse analysis and the longitudinal analysis in two-dimensional mathematical simulations in the static analysis software SOFiSTiK A.G.
