Job Description: We are seeking an experienced CAD designer or engineer proficient in SolidWorks to modify an existing part file. The primary task is to make the ribs of the part thinner while ensuring all modifications adhere to the structural and design requirements. The modified file should be fully compatible and editable in SolidWorks 2020.
Additionally, the modifications are intended for producing a starter mold, so attention to detail and manufacturability is crucial.
Key Requirements:
Proficiency in SolidWorks, with experience in design modification and mold preparation.
The ability to work with SolidWorks 2020 and ensure file compatibility.
Expertise in part design, especially in optimizing rib dimensions for manufacturability.
Delivery of a fully editable CAD file in SolidWorks 2020 format.
Deliverables:
Modified SolidWorks file with thinner ribs as specified.
The CAD file must be editable in SolidWorks 2020.
A brief summary of the changes made and any recommendations for manufacturability (optional but preferred).
Ideal Candidate:
Has a background in mechanical design or mold production.
Is detail-oriented and can deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
Experience in mold design or injection molding would be a plus.
