We’re seeking an experienced Email Marketing & Management Specialist to support our development team by providing guidance, answering technical questions, and coaching our team on best practices for email deliverability and compliance. **Responsibilities:** - Oversee the configuration and manage email authentication protocols (DMARC, SPF, DKIM) to ensure secure, reliable email deliverability. - Oversee the configuration and optimization of AWS SES and Mailgun, specifically through API integration. - Implement custom headers and tracking for email opens, clicks, and engagement metrics. - Troubleshoot deliverability issues to maintain high inbox placement rates across providers. - Act as a go-to resource, coaching team members on integration best practices, answering technical questions, and ensuring smooth implementation. - Ensure compliance with email marketing standards and industry best practices. - Write guide for allowlisting processes for Google and Microsoft email platforms for our clients. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience with AWS SES and Mailgun API integrations for high-volume email deployments. - Strong knowledge of email authentication protocols (DMARC, SPF, DKIM) and custom headers. - Experience with allowlisting for Google and Microsoft platforms. - Familiarity with analytics and tracking systems for monitoring email engagement. - Ability to coach and communicate effectively with team members, providing support and guidance as needed. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Background in email marketing and email management, especially in a SaaS environment. - Experience in coaching or mentoring technical teams on email service integrations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. **Notes:** Special focus should be given to ensuring high email deliverability and maintaining a high inbox placement rate.
