Multi-Axis Motion Control with Raspberry Pi

My project involves the design of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) that integrates six Raspberry Pi Pico boards. This system is for a multi-axis motion control application. Below are the specific requirements: - Interfacing: The master Raspberry Pi Pico should communicate with a computer via a USB connection. - Communication Protocol: An SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) should be used for communication between the master and the five slave Raspberry Pi Pico boards. - Control Dynamics: The motion control system should be capable of achieving multi-axis motion. Project description by Customer I want a pcb board design that has 6 raspberry pi pico w boards, has 6 incremental encoders each for each pico boards using logic level shifting, one of the boards is the master that communicates with a computer using UART and uses SPI to communicate with remaining 5 pico boards, all the slave boards needs to be connected to different CS pins this way even if I switch the boards I don't have to change my code. The logic level shifting needs to be done via physical transistors and resistances, the boards also needs to incorporate 1 stepper motor direction and step pins. All the remaining hardware like the encoder and stepper driver will be connected to the boards via screw terminals. The pcb design should be fail safe and necessary protection diodes needs to placed on the board. The 5v Power line needs to be regulated.
