I'm looking for a developer to create an typing game aimed at children and teenagers, including those with learning disabilities. The main goal of the game is to enhance typing accuracy.
Key Requirements:
- The game should be fun and easy to use for children and teens, with thoughtful consideration for inclusivity for those with learning disabilities.
- The primary focus of the game is to improve the player's typing accuracy, focusing on each line of the keyboard at a time (level 1 - home row key [a to L]; Level 2 - top row key [q to p]; level 3 - bottom row key [z to m]; level 4 - numbers [1 to 0]; level 5 punctuation; and possibly an option to mix the levels together.). Letters they need to type needs to appear in a random order to improve their knowledge of the keyboard layout.
- Auto selecting/clicking into text box so that the child does not need to use the mouse when the game is on, and automatic change in level once the correct letter has been put in.
- The game should focus on compatibility with PC (Desktop/Laptop) and Web game, possible use with table if possible buy not needed.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in game development.
- Knowledge and understanding of learning disabilities and how to create simple and inclusive content.
- Proven experience in developing games compatible with PC.
- Working for the NHS so a cheap price would be needed.
