Job Title: Virtual Assistant for Newsletter Content Curation and Social Media Management
Job Type: Remote | Part-Time | Long-Term
Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the production and promotion of our newsletter focused on remote job leads and career resources. This is a remote role requiring strong research, communication, and social media skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to curate high-quality content, format newsletters, and manage social media platforms to drive audience growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Research and Curation
Research and curate remote job leads, affiliate products, and industry trends from trusted sources.
Verify the quality and relevance of all curated content.
Organize content into a structured draft for the writer to expand upon.
2. Newsletter Support
Format newsletters in Substack, ensuring proper grammar, layout, and link functionality.
Proofread newsletters before final submission to ensure high-quality output.
Coordinate with the writer to finalize drafts on time.
3. Social Media Management
Create and schedule 3–5 engaging social media posts per week using tools like Buffer or Canva.
Monitor social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Facebook) to engage with followers and promote the newsletter.
Participate in niche communities and forums to subtly promote the newsletter.
4. Analytics and Reporting
Track social media and newsletter performance metrics (e.g., subscriber growth, engagement rates).
Provide weekly reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role.
Strong research and content curation skills.
Excellent written English with attention to detail and grammar.
Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc.).
Familiarity with tools like Substack, Buffer, Canva, and Google Sheets.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of remote work or career development trends.
Experience managing or engaging in online communities (e.g., Reddit, Facebook groups).
Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
Hours & Compensation
Weekly Hours: ~10–15 hours per week.
