My name is Saidi. I am an artist. Two facts I dare say you are already acquainted with at this point. Initially, I pursued the path of a civil engineer; however, upon reflection, I concluded that it was not my destined vocation. Hence, I gracefully transitioned into the illustration profession. In truth, I have forever been inclined towards such pursuits. Like many artists, I have been drawing since the earliest recollections of my existence. As my comprehension of the world expanded, so too did the breadth of subjects captured within my art. I love doing meaningful work, and being useful. I also have an ever-expanding awareness of the role that stories play in our lives. As such, I would like to weave my own thread in this rich fabric of human culture and our shared fascination with stories, by using illustrations as an aid to the imagination—that very faculty that imbues life with purpose and significance. In essence, my aspiration lies in collaborating with people who would like to use illustrations as a conduit for creative expression. As such, my art never exists in isolation, but is always in a symbiotic relationship with something else: a concept, a story, a game, or a film.
