English to Japanese Literary Translation

I'm seeking a skilled translator to help bring my historical fiction work to a Japanese audience. The project involves translating the manuscript from English to Japanese. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both languages and cultures, and will be able to convey the nuances of the original text in a way that feels natural and engaging to Japanese readers. Experience in translating literary works, particularly historical fiction, is highly preferred. The ability to understand and translate complex themes and historical references is crucial. So many Japanese emigrated to Hawaii to work in the sugar plantations that they were able recreate Japanese communities in which the customs, language, food and religion remained traditionally Japanese. The protagonists of my novel, however, separate themselves from traditional norms and set out to make a fortune by being shameless, aggressive, expressive and greedy as they set up businesses involving prostitution, gambling, a restaurant and a theater on the Waialua Sugar Plantation on the north shore of Oahu. Their adventures are wild, funny and also tragic, and while they are aberrant in their behavior, they remain lovable, and their outrageous courage to be different will appeal to all people, especially the young, who wish to carve out lives on their own terms free from the restrictions of social expectations.
