We are creating Furbrains, an innovative AI-powered children’s toy designed to engage and delight through advanced technology. The toy features an interactive "Brain" that supports voice recognition, touch interaction, and responsive lighting, creating a fully connected and immersive experience for kids.
What We Need:
We require an experienced Electronic Design Engineer or team to design the Electronic Design, PCA Layout, and PCB Development of the AI Brain through to the prototype stage. This includes designing and developing the core electronics while ensuring compliance with global standards.
Scope of Work:
Electronic Design: Engineer the circuits for the AI Brain using an advanced System on Chip (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson Nano) with Linux/Python compatibility, supporting Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G connectivity (Optional Varient)
PCA Layout & PCB Design: Develop efficient and compact layouts for key components, including a multi-microphone array, RGB LED lighting, and a CSI camera interface.
Power Management: Design a rechargeable Li-Ion battery system with Qi-compliant wireless charging and magnetic alignment for seamless operation.
Prototyping: Produce functional prototypes for testing, including programming and quality assurance ports, ready for rigorous testing and validation.
Global Compliance: Ensure the design meets international safety, EMC, and toy compliance standards, preparing the product for scaling to mass production.
Deliverables:
Completed electronic design and functional PCA layout.
Fully tested and validated prototype ready for the next stage of development.

The project should be completed within 3 to 6 months.
Provide detailed documentation including comprehensive schematics, component descriptions, and a user guide.
The design should include a market-ready prototype suitable for user testing and feedback collection. The Electronic Design Engineer should have senior-level expertise with a minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic design and development.
The engineer should participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress and next steps.
The development should look at the rasperry Pi and other systems on board for design size and complexity of the project.
