XiMo Hungary Kft. is seeking a construction manager for its Gödöllő investment. This role involves overseeing and reporting to higher management in Germany and Hungary. The facility will produce 10 MT/year of organometallic chemical catalysts for internal use and the global market.

FREELANCER – Construction Manager (M/W/D)
At Gödöllő to the construction of our new catalyst plant
START AND END DATE: 01.01.2025-30.06.2026
DURATION: 78 weeks
WORKLOAD: 40 h/ week
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
■ Responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring complex plant construction projects from the tendering phase through to commissioning
■ Coordination of all trades and service providers involved in construction
■ Ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs and quality standards
■ Checking and processing measurements, invoices and supplements
■ Monitoring construction site safety and environmental protection
■ Carrying out quality control, quality assurance and quality management
■ Responsible for complete and proper implementation
■ Representing our interests as the client vis-à-vis contractors and internal departments
■ Regular reporting on the current status and work progress (daily, weekly and final reports) to project management
■ Holding daily meetings with the specialist construction management team
■ Carrying out work safety inspections
YOUR PROFILE
■ Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
■ Several years of professional experience in plant construction, ideally in a managerial role
■ Sound knowledge of project management, contract law and national building requirements
■ Confident handling of MS Office and MS Project
■ Strong organizational and communication skills with high resilience and flexibility
■ Very good English and Hungarian skills to operate effectively and successfully in an international environment
■ German is also preferred
