I require a Windows application that serves as a service to monitor the workstation and watch for an external drive to be connected via USB. The app will copy selected predefined custom file types to a local machine, read specific metadata from files, and build a RestAPI Post request to send along with each copied file.

Key Features:

- Monitor for specific custom file types on external drive.

- Copy selected files to local machine.

- Read specific file metadata including Author/Creator info.

- Build and send RestAPI Post requests with each file.

- Basic local logging capabilities.

- Read from a local configuration file for launch info.

- Use a remote configuration file for additional processing data, including a RestAPI bearer token.

Ideal Skills:

- Proficiency in Windows application development.

- Experience with file monitoring and copying operations.

- Familiarity with RestAPI and creating Post requests.

- Ability to implement logging capabilities.
