iOS and Android Application for Restaurant Reviews

Project Description: We are seeking an experienced developer or development team to create a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms that allows users to search for restaurants, post reviews, and track their visits. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building scalable, secure, and modern applications with a focus on great user experience. This project also requires an emphasis on distributed architecture, microservices, and cloud-based solutions for long-term scalability. Key Features: Search Functionality on Map: Users should be able to search for restaurants using an interactive map. Results should display restaurant reviews, distance from the user, and estimated cost per meal. Personalized User View: A personalized timeline that shows all the restaurants visited by the user, with time and dates. Review Posting and Media Uploads: Users should be able to post reviews, upload images, and videos to share their experience. Distributed and Modern Architecture: Application to be built using a distributed microservice architecture for scalability and reliability. Preferred modern programming languages for the backend (e.g., Go, Rust, Python, Node.js). Authentication and Login: Secure authentication service with phone number, email, and password options. Login should be quick and seamless. Payment Integration: Support for various payment methods for future in-app transactions (if required). Compliance and Security: The application must be GDPR and CCPA compliant. Strong emphasis on secure data handling and storage. Backend APIs: Backend services should expose both RESTful and GraphQL APIs for future scalability. Scalable Database & CDN: Use of a scalable, distributed database for managing large amounts of data. Content Delivery Network (CDN) to manage and deliver images and videos efficiently.
