Ultra-Wideband End-fire Quasi-Yagi Antenna for High Resolution Automotive Radar Applications
IEEE
In this work, we propose an ultra-wideband end-fire quasi-yagi antenna which simultaneously could be used for 5G communications and automotive radar applications. The proposed antenna covers an ultra-wide frequency range of 24.8 GHz (from 23.8 GHz to 48.6 GHz) by attaining a fractional bandwidth of more than 68%. The gain of the antenna ranges from 4.37 - 5.95 dBi. An excellent radiation efficiency of more than 97% is also achieved.
Radio Frequency Energy Harvesting From Ambient FM Signals for Making Battery-Less Sensor Nodes
IEEE
This paper presents an efficient rectifier for Radio Frequency (RF) energy harvesting applications in FM band (88MHz to 108MHz). The proposed rectifier is based on Modified Greinacher Rectification topology. The circuit is designed on Keysight Advance Design System (ADS) and realized on a 1.6mm thick FR4 sheet with 35um of copper cladding.
Highly Efficient Dual Band Rectifier for RF Energy Harvesting Applications in ISM Band
IEEE
A highly efficient single branch dual-band rectifier operating at 2.45GHz and 5.8 GHz for various Radio Frequency (RF) Energy harvesting applications is presented. The circuit consists of a voltage doubler, an impedance matching network, and a load resistor. The diode used for rectification is SMS-7630 by Skyworks and its selection has been justified by a comparative study of diodes. An extremely low loss microstrip line based dual band impedance transformer is used for impedance matching.
