I need a simple CRM system for a small business, with the option to later expand it into a product for resale.
Features my company currently requires:
Customer Database
A manually entered customer database with the ability to detect if a customer already exists based on the entered data.
Customer Details
Fields to be completed:
Company name and address
Area of operation (16 fixed regions or the entire country - selectable)
Name and surname of the contact person
Phone number
Email address
Notes from the conversation
An option to specify whether the customer is a company or an individual
Type of work performed for the customer: electrical inspection or gas inspection
Customer List View and Sorting
Ability to display a customer list and sort it by:
Area of operation
Names
Whether the customer is acquired or potential
Type: company or individual
Time for the next phone contact
Fields to Define Future Actions for Each Customer:
Customer Status
A field to indicate whether the customer is acquired or potential.
Scheduling Follow-Ups
Define the time for the next phone contact with the customer (a separate tab to view daily, where employees would see a list of customers to follow up with).
For acquired customers, define the time for the next periodic service and the lead time for contacting the customer in advance.
Automated PDF Offer Sending
An option to enable automatic sending of a PDF offer at specified intervals (a pre-filled template with data from the "company name" field).
Additional Requirements:
User Authentication:
The application should require login access and allow multiple users to work on the database simultaneously.
Scalability for Resale:
The system should be designed so that new databases can be easily created, allowing the system to be resold to other users in the future. For now, I want this system solely for my own testing and work purposes.
The CRM system should be a web-based application accessible via browsers. Integrate with calendar applications for seamless scheduling and follow-ups. I am open to suggestions regarding the technology stack for building the CRM system. Include options for basic customization of PDF offer templates, such as logo and company colors.
