Make the Owl swim (underwater).

  I think the Owl is swimming on this picture but it can also be seen as just staying still under another angle, maybe because of the position of her feet.
  I also have an impression that she should be bit smaller in order to keep the right distance between her and the Winnie.
  Personally I'd prefer her to have the wide opening of the wings, but I'm not against considering your idea, if you prefer to go on developing it as above.
