I am requesting a quotation for the development of a web application aimed at managing customer orders and purchases from factories by an importing company. The development must be turnkey, including all necessary services for implementation such as hosting, cloud services, warranty, and delivery of manuals. The application will be designed for use by a team of 3 to 4 people. Please, include in your offer the aprox mensual cost my client will have to pay because the services, like hosting or cloud storage. I attached a mockup of the principal menus of the app. 2. Project Objective Develop an efficient and user-friendly web application that allows: - Management of customer orders. - Consolidation and management of purchases made from factories. - Administration of an extensive inventory. - Registration and customization of client information. 3. Functional Requirements The application must include the following main modules and functionalities: 3.1 Customer Orders Menu - Enable the selection of products from the inventory. - Include a search function to locate products by name or code. - Save completed orders. - Generate a PDF with order details (products, quantities, prices, discounts applied, etc.). 3.2 Order Consolidation Menu - Allow selection of multiple previously placed orders. - Generate a consolidated PDF containing all selected items, sorted by manufacturer. - Visually identify already consolidated orders (e.g., with a color change or status label). 3.3 Client Management Menu - Register and edit client information. - Assign a personalized discount for each client. - Automatically apply assigned discounts to orders placed by clients. 3.4 Inventory Management Menu - Enable adding, modifying, or deleting inventory products. - Upload and store product images. - Migrate the existing database in Excel format with approximately 2,500 products to the system. - Each product includes: code, name, description, factory and image. 4. Non-Functional Requirements - Warranty: The provider must offer a 60-day warranty after delivery of the application. - Maintenance Manual: - Security - Scalability: Design the application to enable future direct purchases by clients without requiring administrative staff from the importing company to load the order. - Compatibility: Accessible from major web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). 5. Technical Requirements Technologies: Specify the technologies to be used for development (frameworks, programming languages, databases, etc.). Hosting and Cloud Services: - Provide a reliable and secure hosting service. - Include in the proposal the approximate monthly cost of the hosting or cloud services required for the application. 6. Deliverables - Fully functional web application delivered turnkey. - Migration of the initial database from the provided Excel file. - Detailed maintenance manual. - 60-day warranty post-delivery. - Approximate monthly cost breakdown of associated services (hosting, cloud, etc.).
