I'm looking for an expert in Joomla and Virtuemart. Please no automated responses to projects. Back in 2021, browsers would show notifications saying that my website was not secure. It used a very old version of Joomla and Virtuemart, which I failed to keep up to date. Another thing is that bots kept creating spam accounts and it drove me crazy. I decided to do an update to the latest on April of 2021, I also updated the PHP in the cPanel. After the update, everything was a mess and my website looked awful, links were broken and many things didn't work. I didn't bother to check if Virtuemart still worked. This is how my website looked before: [login to view URL]://[login to view URL] This is how the website looks now: [login to view URL] I have a backup of the entire site before the update in a .JPA file. I also created a subdomain of the old website, but I am unsure how to activate it. If it is activated, it could be used as comparison when fixing the new website. I want everything working as before, but with the latest Joomla and Virtuemart, and I want it to look like it used to, as much as possible. All links should work, the store should work and accept new orders, my list of customers and orders should be intact. Some plugins may no longer be available (for example, ccboard), so a replacement would be needed. After everything is fixed, unnecessary files should be deleted from the server to disk space.

Hi Sorry to hear about the mess on your platform. I am CMS specialist with hands-on on Joomla and could help with this. We may not be able to agree on a fix offer at the moment until after backend review to ascertain what may have broken during the upgrades, especially PHP upgrade and then Joomla. Getting it working could be possible but may not be exactly as old due to possibility of outdated scripts of packages in use. In essence, one may not be able to tell the extent of damage or fixes until after investigation. You can reach out and share credentials of the site so i can help do a quick review and proceed to finalize contract and get start asap. Another option could be migrating to a more supported platform if you may be considering that possibility as well. I look forward to reading from you
