I have a HP Proliant DL 160 G6 Server that I intend to use with ESXi 5.5 for my home CCIE Collaboration practice lab. What I have discovered that in order to run ESXi I need to have a hardware RAID controller. My hardware RAID controller is P410. I have installed the RAID Controller correctly but the server does not see the RAID controller on start up or in the Boot section of the ROM Based System Setup Utility (version 2.61). In my estimation I need to install the firmware for the RAID controller on the server. I am also not sure if the ROM-Based Setup Utility needs to be upgraded or if this is even possible. I have found the pages on HP support website that have the drivers and files for the RAID controller but this is not my area and I do not know how to take those file...
