In this project, I focused on retouching a newborn baby photo to enhance its natural beauty while preserving the delicate, pure essence of the image. My primary goal was to create a soft and realistic final result that would highlight the baby's features in a subtle yet refined way. One of the key tasks was removing the photographer's hand, ensuring the focus remained solely on the baby. I also addressed flaky skin patches, gently smoothing and refining the skin to give it a healthy, soft appearance. The skin tone was then adjusted to a more realistic and natural shade of pink, ensuring it looked vibrant yet true to the baby’s delicate complexion. To enhance the baby’s cheeks, I added a very subtle blush of redness, giving a healthy, flushed look without being overly noticeable. Lastly, I worked on adding soft hair to the baby’s head, filling in patchy areas to create a fuller, more natural hairline.
