Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Kalaakaar Makerspace, a leading provider of CNC machining and laser cutting services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth in the CNC and laser cutting industries.
As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, ensuring customers understand the benefits and capabilities of our services, and effectively closing sales while delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and generate new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients in various industries .
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and prospects.
Sales & Account Management:
Qualify leads and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
Present our CNC machining and laser cutting capabilities, explaining the technical aspects and benefits of our services.
Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts based on customer requirements.
Negotiate terms and pricing to secure contracts and meet sales targets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in CRM systems.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasting, and updates to management.
Industry Networking & Events:
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and generate new leads.
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Proven experience in sales, with a focus on manufacturing industries (CNC machining, laser cutting, or similar fields preferred).
Experience with B2B sales
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships.
Sales Skills:
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Sales Experience is what matters the most.
