Job Title: Website Redesign from WordPress to PHP/HTML or Other Languages Overview: We are seeking an experienced website developer to redesign our public-facing website [[login to view URL]]([login to view URL]). The current website is built on WordPress, and we wish to migrate it to a new platform using a more secure, manageable, and cost-effective language or framework, such as PHP or HTML. The key objective is to retain 100% of the existing content, SEO structure, and functionality while optimising security, performance, and ease of use for future updates. Key Requirements: 1. Content & SEO Preservation: • Maintain 100% of the existing content (text, images, videos). • All page titles, meta tags, meta descriptions, and internal/external linking must remain unchanged to preserve SEO rankings. • Ensure the URL structure is preserved for all current pages so that search engine rankings remain unaffected. 2. Functionality: • Retain the ability to create, edit, and delete pages/posts with ease. • Automated generation of meta tags, hashtags, and SEO-friendly URLs based on the page content and title. • New page titles, meta descriptions, and URLs should be auto-generated but customisable for SEO optimisation. • Image & Video Integration: All uploaded images should be maintained in a media library for reuse. Additionally, the site should allow embedding of external image or video links, and these should display seamlessly on the relevant site pages. 3. Media & Content Uploads: • Ability to upload and embed videos, images, and other media formats. • Ensure the site is fully responsive and mobile-friendly. • Any uploaded files (documents, images) via the website should only be emailed to the recipient and not stored on the server for security reasons. 4. Menus & Navigation: • Ability to create and modify main menus and sub-menus. • Maintain the existing structure and ensure that new pages do not affect the navigation flow. 5. Design & Aesthetics: • Retain all current images, banners, and photos on their respective pages. • Ability to change header images for various sections. • Ability to create and manage pop-ups and special offers, with the capability to schedule these pop-ups between specific dates or times. 6. Security & User Consent: • Implement a cookie consent banner to inform visitors of the use of cookies. • Ensure robust security features such as SSL, data encryption, and protection against common web vulnerabilities. 7. User Roles & Permissions: • The Super Admin must be able to create user accounts for specific roles, such as SEO specialists or content creators. • Users should have permission to create/edit pages; however, any pages or posts they create should be saved as drafts until the Admin approves and publishes them. 8. Performance: • Optimise the website for speed and performance, including image optimisation and script magnification. • Ensure the website adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.22 compliance). 9. Administration & Maintenance: • Provide an intuitive backend dashboard for managing website content without the need for coding knowledge.
