TopGuides - Tourist-Guide Matching Platform

General description: The project name is TopGuides. We know that Airbnb connects tourists and accommodation. TopGuides is a platform connects tourists and quality local guides. On tourists end: It will be a website, both on PCs and more importantly on Smart phones. Tourists will be able the choice destination, and then pick a guide after viewing their profile. Each guide will show his/her basic information, a video, and some products that they develop by themselves(optional). Of course tourists will need to register, add the credit card information in order to make a purchase. We charge 20% of the deposit when booking is made. And the rest need to be paid when be before finish the service. Tourists will be able to see their booking status and history. In addition, guides can give tourist review as well, tourists will be able to see the reviews. On the guides end: We need an Application for guides, both on iPhone and Android. To register, guides will need to download the App, input their basic information, and get approval by our colleagues. Guides will be able to see their booking status, financial status, reviews, etc. Guides need to constantly update their availability on the App, reply questions, and confirm new bookings. There are different type of guides, Master Guides who are very professional and experienced, Normal guides who are fairly charged, and driver-guides who can provide transportation. They can decide how much to charge under the rule we made. Design: Please include the front end design as part of the project. We are not picky on design. We want the viewer to focus on the content so simple design will be good enough. However, we might make the logo ourself. Flexibility: There will be also some rare cases. For example, when a guide refer another guide to join, we will give the referrer a certain amount of money. When a guide is sick, we will replace with another guide. So we need to have the function and flexibility to do so. SEO friendly: The web should be build by very advanced and decent coding which is SEO friendly. Volume: For the first step, a goal is the have around 2000 guides worldwide and 50% occupation rate, meaning around 1000 guides are out working everyday. It gives a idea of how much volume we are going to have. Long-term cooperation: We do not have a tech team for this project. We will rely on the builders for the future adjustments and maintenance. We want to make sure that the team who do the maintenance will be very familiar with the project. Also we like to know the cost of maintenance. Quotation: Base on the information above, can we have a very rough quotation, even a range will be helpful. Also please give us some idea on how long it will take to finish.
