I'm looking to develop a mobile video player with a total of four pages. The player should support MP4 and m3u8 formats, and be compatible exclusively with mobile devices.
1. Navigation page (Home/Startup page)
Function:
Display an ad or brand introduction at launch.
Support countdown to skip ad button.
Can preload some resources or check for updates.
suggestion:
Animation effects enable smooth transitions between pages.
Use the caching mechanism to load advertising content in advance to ensure a smooth experience.
Configure creatives and jump links in the background to support dynamic updating of advertising content
2. Video classification and list page
Function:
Video category display (such as popular, recommended, category tags).
Video list waterfall or grid layout display.
Supports search function to quickly find video content.
Paging function can be loaded to scroll to load more videos.
Supports display of video cover, title, duration and other information.
suggestion:
The backend provides classification API and video list interface, and the frontend dynamically renders content.
Picture and video covers support lazy loading to improve performance.
Video data storage supports paging query to reduce pressure on the server.
Add caching function to reduce repeated network requests and improve loading speed.
3. Video playback page
Function:
Click the video to enter the play page and play high-definition video content.
Supports double-speed playback, pause, fast forward/rewind, full-screen switching and other functions.
Automatically play the next episode or recommend related videos.
Barrage interaction or comment function support (optional).
Supports offline caching and downloading functions (optional).
suggestion:
Use a native video player component or a third-party open source player library such as ExoPlayer (Android) or AVPlayer (iOS).
Supports multi-resolution selection and dynamically switches clarity.
Breakpoint resume function records the last playback progress.
Streaming media supports HLS or DASH format to achieve adaptive bit rate playback.
DRM encryption protects content and prevents the spread of piracy.
4. Settings/Personal Center Page (optional)
Function:
Login/registration function.
Collection, history, and viewing history management.
User preferences (e.g. autoplay, subtitle on/off).
Account security and privacy settings.
I currently have an h5 version of a web page, and I hope that Android and iOS will be exactly the same as h5. If you can flutter, that's better.
