I am seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Backend Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to collaborate closely with my developer on an upcoming social media app. This position focuses exclusively on backend testing and validation to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and reliability. While backend QA is the primary focus, familiarity with Flutter is preferred, and experience working on iOS and Android applications is required. The workload for this project is estimated at 10-24 total hours and must be completed within a 10-15 day timeline. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): - INDIVIDUAL FREELANCERS ONLY. NO AGENCIES WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. - ONLY CANDIDATES WITH A COMPLETED AND VERIFIED FREELANCER PROFILE WILL BE ACCEPTED. - Proposals that DO NOT ADDRESS THE TIMELINE, BUDGET, AND REQUIREMENTS or fail to provide relevant details about your qualifications and experience WILL NOT BE REVIEWED. Responsibilities - Backend QA Testing: Identify bugs, inefficiencies, and vulnerabilities in backend code written in NodeJS and PostgreSQL. - API Testing: Validate and test APIs for functionality, performance, reliability, and adherence to project requirements. - Database Review: Evaluate the PostgreSQL database for optimization opportunities, ensuring efficient queries and data integrity. - Server-Side Performance Testing:Test server performance and scalability, focusing on AWS infrastructure. - Mobile Platform QA: Ensure backend functionality works seamlessly with iOS and Android applications. - Reporting: Provide detailed feedback and documentation of identified issues, suggested improvements, and testing outcomes. - Collaboration: Work with the developer to resolve issues and implement fixes promptly. Requirements - Experience: Proven QA experience with backend systems for mobile apps, preferably in social media or similar platforms. - Must be fluent in English ( written and oral) - Technical Knowledge: - Backend: Proficiency in NodeJS and PostgreSQL. - API Testing: Demonstrated ability to review and validate APIs for functionality and performance. - Cloud Services: Experience working with **AWS infrastructure for scalability and performance testing. - Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with Flutter is preferred. - Platform Expertise: Must have experience working on iOS and Android applications. - Project Complexity: Proven experience working on medium-complexity to super complex projects. - Communication: Fluent in English for effective collaboration and reporting. - NDA Compliance: Willingness to work under a non-disclosure agreement. - Individual Applicants Only: This position is open to freelancers only. No agencies will be considered. Timeline & Budget - Timeline: 10-15 days (phased project). -Budget: $300-$400 (strict adherence required). Proposal Requirements Only complete proposals that meet the outlined requirements will be considered. Additional project details will be provided to shortlisted candidates. Your proposal must include: 1. Your experience and relevant backend QA skills. 2. Examples of similar projects, including your role and contributions. 3. A statement confirming your ability to complete the project within the timeline and budget. Additional Details - Interviews and meetings will be held in EST (USA timezone). Candidates must be available during these hours. - Regular check-ins with the developer and management are required.
