Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to assess the demand and opportunities for an app focused on African business and cultural initiatives in Dubai.
Develop and distribute surveys targeting specific demographics (African expatriates, entrepreneurs, Dubai residents with cultural interests, local businesses).
Organize and manage both online and in-person surveys, leveraging your knowledge of key locations in Dubai such as business hubs, cultural centers, and expatriate communities.
Analyze survey data to provide actionable insights on user expectations, local market dynamics, and cultural preferences.
Identify and evaluate competitors or similar platforms in Dubai and globally, highlighting unique selling points for the app.
Provide recommendations for effective marketing strategies and app features that will resonate with both African communities and the global market in Dubai.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in market research and survey creation, particularly for new product or app launches.
Strong understanding of Dubai’s business environment and cultural landscape, especially relating to African communities or initiatives.
Ability to identify and engage with relevant target audiences (expatriates, entrepreneurs, cultural enthusiasts).
Experience with survey tools like Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, or Typeform, and strong data analysis skills.
Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver insights on time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with African business, cultural initiatives, or diaspora communities in Dubai.
Previous experience conducting market research in Dubai or the UAE.
