I can work with Defold, I am primarily a C++ programmer and have some experience with making video games and pixel art in Aseprite. Although I usually work without a videogame engine (I am currently developing my own game based on OpenGL), I have experience with Unity and Godot and can adapt quickly to your needs, especially since Defold is relatively simple to learn. I am confident in creating a game that fits your needs which would be about 3 hours long if quality is prioritised or maybe a little longer with less of an emphasis on graphics and sound design. Any art that is premade will decrease development time. I assume you have some characters which I should base the game on but I can also think of something if not. I also created a milestone system of roughly how the development should go if everything goes smoothly. Either way, this project sounds exciting to work on! Hope to hear from you again, MP
