Executive Presence is a highly specialized niche, which is a determining factor in ascending the leadership ladder. While it is popularly spoken about in the International sphere, there are very few specialized coaches in India that can contribute to this field in the Indian context for the Indian professionals. There is a surge is the service sector but not enough self-help books for corporate professionals. Through this book, I want to share a step by step guide for business owners, senior leaders and aspiring leaders on how they can shape and intensify their Executive Presence
My key objective to publish this book on Executive Presence is to help the people I cannot reach physically, through my book. Help them develop a captivating persona, enhance their productivity, build strong human connections, get those promotions, make a mark in the global business world and soar the heights of success in their careers. With my corporate experience, leadership roles, coaching and consulting training, I have put together a blue print that can help corporate professionals thrive and flourish in a highly competitive business environment. This book will have three sections that will address the prime elements of developing and exuding a strong Executive Presence.
The book consists of Tools, Techniques, Introspective Questions, Case studies and Tips for leaders-in—the-making to adopt, practice and repeat. This blue print can help them understand their leadership standing, evaluate their presence and adopt measures to evolve.
Executive Presence is about who you are, how you make people feel in your presence, how you project yourself and who do you become in the process. One doesn’t need 20-30 years of working experience to command respect or exude executive presence. Today, many young CEO’s, Directors, Vice Presidents are flourishing because they worked on creating a impactful professional presence. Therefore this book can cater across age bars, working experience, department verticals, industries and cultures.
The first section of the book explains the importance of creating an impactful visual presence through dressing and grooming appropriately, maintaining a positive and confident body language, etiquette and manners in different business situations. It explains the science behind dressing and how it can directly impact the productivity. This section encapsulates how to create memorable first impressions, conversation starters, small talk and many other tools that can help corporate professionals exhibit confidence and charm.
The second section of the book addresses the authority that a leader must possess.
