Hello, my name is Daniel. I'm originally from Bulgaria but live and work in England since 2014.
I work my 9-5 full time job at one of the largest Fortune 500 corporations in the world, and have previously worked for few of the other Fortune 500 companies. In this role, I'm a Systems Analyst and Developer, focusing mostly on developing highly-sophisticated, automated, reliable, user-friendly and end-user-customizable Excel solutions with VBA macros and automations. I also love building Excel-SAP automations where Excel is controlling SAP applications through SAP GUI Scripting.
Data analytics and programming is at the core of what I do, but you will find that I'm seamlessly combining the technical and highly-detailed aspects of my work with the social and non-technical world of natural human interaction. I've worked with many developers throughout my career, and typically the profile of such professional leans towards 1 out of 2 states:
1) Biased towards very technical and difficult to communicate with and understanding the full customer requirements; difficult to provide handover about the finished solution when the developer is delivering it to the customer; difficult to adapt to customer feedback and requests for revisions.
2) Very capable communicator but lacking critical eye for detail and technical skills of sufficient depth and experience in a real working environment where data drives big corporate decisions and there is no margin for error.
If you've read this far, you will be rewarded to understand where I fit in this landscape. I seamlessly combine points 1 and 2 above.
Freelancer.com is a new venture for me. I want to experiment putting my skills that I use in my day job into a side business venture, and see how much opportunity there is working as an independent consultant. It's what I always wanted to try out, so I will be very happy if you join me along this journey. I can confidently state that I won't embark on a project unless I'm 100% sure I can deliver it as expected by the customer.
Looking forward to working together.
Kind regards,
Daniel Borisov
