I'm Akash, graduated from IIT, IIM and NIT in Data Science & Management and Electrical Engineering respectively. Currently I am employed as a power trader, focusing on power procurement for Asia's second-largest single location Power Plant, managing 3,615 MW capacity. I oversee procurement and trading for MNC its subsidiaries across multiple portfolios Real Time Market, Day Ahead Market (DAM), G-DAM, and DAC on various exchanges, ensuring compliance while driving renewable energy integration for green metal initiatives. My role involves bidding decisions, analyzing company strategies, studying implications of policies, producing forecasts and looking at what's next. I'm also leading the digitization of a comprehensive Power Management Project which enables automation of power scheduling, weather and other factors such All India demand and supply, billing integration and many other objectives. We have been recognized with the highest Green Power Energy Trader award by the Indian Energy Exchange.
