Web Application Development for Product Repair Tracking System

We are in need of a talented freelancer to develop a web application that facilitates the tracking and management of our product repair services. Our company sells a variety of products through our website/directly, and we require a system to manage the repairs once products are sent back to us by customers due to issues. Core Requirements: Product Intake and Management: 1) Ability to record product details upon receipt including the date received, SKU, quantity, and condition. 2) Optional feature to upload an image of the product. 3) Dropdown menu to select the sales agent associated with the product sale. 4) Automatically assign a repair timeline of 5 days upon entry, visible on the dashboard. 5) Auto-assign technicians to each product, with the ability for admin to manually reassign technicians as needed. Repair Phases Tracking: 1) Distinct phases within the app: Testing, PCB Change, Battery Change, Accessories Replacement, Final Testing, and Ready to Dispatch. 2) Ability to update and track progress through these phases. Warranty and Payment Filtering: 1) Integrated filtering at the point of product intake to distinguish products covered under warranty from those not covered. 2) Ensure systems in place for immediate identification and tagging of warranty status upon product entry into the system. 3) Products without warranty require confirmation of customer payment before proceeding with repairs. 4) Products with warranty are automatically cleared for repair processing without needing further confirmation from the customer. User Roles and Permissions: 1) One admin panel with full access. 2) Five user accounts: two for technicians and three for the sales team. 3) Sales team logins should have visibility only to repairs related to their specific customers. Dashboard and Metrics: Overview of repair statuses, including numbers ready to dispatch and overdue repairs. Tracking technician performance with points awarded for repairs and penalties for returns or complaints post-repair. Any other relevant matrices. Technical and Design Specifications: A simple, user-friendly interface that is cost-effective to develop and maintain. Responsive design compatible browser. Deliverables: Complete source code. Basic documentation on how to use and maintain the application.
