I am seeking a children's book illustrator to illustrate a book for ages 3-7, specifically focusing on an engaging and playful interpretation of the alphabet. Each alphabet letter has its own personality (T twirls, for example. Main characters A, B, and Y need several expressions: nervous, proud, etc.) The project includes nine spreads and ten single-page drawings. Illustrator notes will be provided. Style can be cartoonish or whimsy. The project is 2-parts, and involves providing sketches of the story as part one. After all sketches are approved, a second payment to color will be provided. Please provide your estimate for part one (sketches of the book and cover) , and the estimated cost for coloring phase in your written reply. If you are skilled at drawing engaging letter people (who have arms, legs, eyes and mouths at the least) Please show me an example if you have one. Setting is in nature, with two separate clubhouses. Key Requirements: - Show me an example of what a letter character might look like. - Experience working with children's book authors. No AI ! particularly for the preschool age group - Ability to create fun and engaging visuals that align with an 'Alphabet Story' theme - Portfolio demonstrating previous work - Creative and collaborative approach to bring the story to life visually Please only apply if you have a portfolio that fits this description, and can provide an example of what a letter character might look like.
