We're building a 2D GameMaker Studio Game. The game has been in development with a part-time developer since 2019. We're now hiring a full-time developer to replace the part-time dev help speed up development. Successful applicant must have substantial experience with using GameMaker Studio 2 and creating 2D multiplayer games with the game engine. On April 3rd you'll work with a developer who has been freelancing with us for sometime on this project to go through the infrastructure of our game and understand everything you'll need to know - and so we can make sure you are suitable for this project. Our project currently has just one developer and the successful applicant will be replacing them as the lead developer. A portfolio with the games you've created or worked on would be great. Essential Criteria: - GML & concepts of GameMaker - NodeJS/JS & Sockets - General networking concepts - Experience building networked applications and or multiplayer games - PHP and linux server administration Schedule: We need an individual who can confidently commit 10+ hours a week. Work remotely: Yes Start: April 3rd 2021.
