I'm seeking an experienced Solidworks professional to convert our STEP files into 2D drawings using our custom Solidworks templates.
Key Requirements:
- You will be working mostly with A, B, or C sized sheets, depending on the part size.
- Each drawing should include a minimum of three views plus an isometric view, all fully dimensioned.
- The project consists of approximately 300 parts, with an estimated average of 15 minutes per part.
- Please use a drawing scale of 1:1, but no smaller than 1:2. Do not crowd pages.
- All parts and dimensioning will be in inches.
- It is crucial to employ the parallel dimensioning technique wherever possible.
- The general tolerance is +/-.002", with shaft OD at +0.0/-.002" and bore ID at +.002/-0.0".
- Surface finish details will need to be included: 6.4um material finish, 3.2um general surface, 1.6um shaft and bore finish.
- The goal is to complete this task within two weeks or less.
Please note: You will be using our custom Solidworks templates settings for different details such as dimensions, annotations, and part outlines. I will provide all necessary layer settings.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Solidworks with a strong understanding of mechanical components.
- Previous experience creating 2D drawings from 3D models.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in following tolerance specifications.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
