Hello, I have a 19'x22' garage with 13' ceilings, and I would like to build a loft for storage. I imagine two ledgers along the side walls and then joists from side to side. My question is, is this something you can make plans/ engineering for? Also, what is the maximum square feet allowed? I plan to use a ladder or some attic steps.
