I am Swetha Dumala, a systems engineering professional deeply interested in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and digital transformation. I hold a master’s degree in Systems Engineering for Manufacturing from Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have built a strong foundation in systems engineering methodologies and digital engineering tools, with a clear focus on optimizing complex processes and advancing model-driven approaches for modern manufacturing and Industry 4.0 systems. My recent experience includes working as an MBSE Consultant at CARIAD through Capgemini, where I was responsible for deploying systems engineering methodologies and leveraging specialized tools to streamline digital engineering initiatives. This role allowed me to gain firsthand experience in aligning methodologies with industry requirements and developing efficient systems engineering practices in a real-world setting. Additionally, I completed an internship as a Systems Engineer at Krones AG within the Product Development team, where I contributed to MBSE implementation in product design processes, focusing on digital modeling, integration, and system optimization. Previously, I also served as a research assistant at my university for almost a year, where I supported projects centered around model-driven approaches for Industry 4.0 systems, as well as the development of domain-specific languages (DSLs) and ontologies. This experience helped me appreciate the importance of digital transformation in manufacturing systems and the value of DSLs and ontology-based approaches to structuring and streamlining complex system designs. With expertise in a range of technical tools, including Enterprise Architect (MDG Technology), Cameo Systems Modeler, Protege, Neo4j, and Python, I have developed a solid technical foundation for supporting MBSE initiatives and digital engineering projects. I am particularly interested in pursuing roles as a Systems Engineer, MBSE Engineer, or in digital engineering and digital transformation, where I can utilize my skills to contribute to innovative projects and cross-functional teams. Alongside my technical skills, I am a fast learner with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling me to work effectively within diverse, multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders to understand and address project requirements. I am passionate about bridging technical and non-technical perspectives to facilitate seamless integration, alignment, and success across engineering projects. With my background, I am excited to advance my career in systems engineering and MBSE, contributing to impactful projects and supporting organizations in achieving efficient, data-driven, and sustainable transformations in engineering and manufacturing
