Plastic Fischer is a social enterprise from Germany that prevents ocean plastic by collecting it in rivers to protect marine biodiversity. We develop low-tech solutions that can be built on-site from locally available materials and manage the River Plastic in line with international best practices.
Since April 2021, Plastic Fischer created more than 75 jobs in India and Indonesia and collected and processed more than 1600 tons of plastic.
Companies finance Plastic Fischer’s work as part of their CSR mandate, sustainability and marketing strategies. To provide the sponsors with high-quality content on a regular basis, we are looking for a talented person that will cover all aspects of our work in photo and video.

Key responsibilities:
Create the content as requested by Plastic Fischer’s Social Media Manager.
Follow the team on their daily routine and cover the social and environmental impact.
Carry out interviews with employees, locals, authorities in local language and provide the translation in English.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, and continuously explore new ways to improve our social media presence.
Come up with ideas on how to create engaging content that could go viral.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a (Social Media) content creator.
A good understanding of how to operate a camera, including lighting, framing and composition.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
A creative mindset and the ability to think outside of the box to create innovative content.
Experience with graphic design, video/photo editing is a plus.
