I'm looking for a skilled data analyst and Python programmer to create a code in Jupyter Notebook for analyzing data from Excel files.
The project involves:
- Primarily focusing on data analysis
- Utilizing Pandas and NumPy libraries
Ideal candidates should have:
- Extensive experience with data analysis and Python programming
- Proficiency in using Pandas and NumPy
- Ability to work with Excel files
- Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook
Please include in your bid examples of similar projects you've completed.
You are required to write the necessary program and create an effective presentation describing:
The military spending of at least the top 10 nations (in military spending)
Compare the data to that country’s GDP,
Compare the data to the overall military spending of the all 10+ countries,
Compare the per person military spending to the per person GDP,
Single out the fastest growing countries in military spending in fixed value and in percentage,
State where the data came from
Your code, working and well documented
Your learning process using that code
You can obtain your data from SIPRI and the World Bank and other places. Pick a range of 5 years such as 2017-2022.
Rubric:
Note that the program must work and work correctly; if it does not, you will receive a 0
All work must be done using Python and Python libraries
All data must be read in by Python code and cleaned and organized by Python code
Excel, R, or anything else are not permitted to be used for graphing/plotting
Graphing in Excel and posting the graph in Python is considered cheating
Data cannot be hard coded into the code and must be read in from outside sources (CSV, XLS, XLSX, Web, etc.)
If the above requirements are violated or not met, the project receives a 0
Presentation and video design (proper introduction, body, topic coverage, live demo coverage, proper ending) (10)
