I am seeking an experienced data scientist to create a comprehensive knowledge graph by populating an ontology with instances extracted from multiple datasets. The primary goal of this knowledge graph is to facilitate advanced data analysis. Key Responsibilities: Process and extract instances from three CSV files and two JSON files (provided) to construct the knowledge graph. Enhance the knowledge graph by defining and applying SPARQL queries for meaningful insights. Define at least 5 SHACL node shapes, each with a minimum of 3 property shapes, to ensure the graph's structure and data integrity. Tools and Resources: The project will require the use of OpenRefine, RML, RML Mapper, and YARRRML for efficient data processing and ontology population. Deliverables: A fully populated and enriched knowledge graph. A well-defined set of SHACL node shapes and property shapes for validation. A concise PDF report (maximum 10 pages) documenting your methodology, tools, results, and key insights. Required Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in data analysis and knowledge graph creation. Expertise in SPARQL and familiarity with querying large datasets. Hands-on experience with OpenRefine, RML, RML Mapper, and YARRRML. Proven ability to design and implement SHACL node shapes and property shapes. Excellent communication and documentation skills to produce a clear, professional report. I am excited to submit my proposal for the development of a comprehensive knowledge graph using the data ( csv and json ) in the ontological area or domain. My assumption is that the data you have is sufficient to build a small-scale knowledge graph ( 10-50 entities and few (3-5) relationships between the entities). Here will be my approach to the development. 1. Understanding the data model and validating if the data captures the ontological description and elements correctly. 2. Data Extraction and Transformation .. Deploying ETL techniques to clean, format and normalize the two sources into RDF format using the tool of your choice .. SPQRQL. 3. Build the knowledge graph templates following the guidelines you have laid down .. ( minimum 5 node shapes .. like people, address, product, book, event ) 4. Implement the knowledge graph using [login to view URL] 5. This is assumptive.
