Key Responsibilities: - Locating international suppliers: As I plan to diversify my product range, it's essential that the sourcing agent be well-versed in sourcing products from a wide range of suppliers across different regions. - Negotiating prices: I need someone who is adept at negotiating, ensuring that I receive the best rates possible while maintaining the quality of products. - Registration and product upload: The sourcing agent will also be responsible for helping with supplier registration and uploading products to the supplier's portal. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Prior experience in international sourcing, preferably in the mentioned industries. - Strong negotiation skills. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Knowledge of import/export regulations. - Experience in product registration and upload to suppliers' portals. We are looking for a highly motivated sourcing specialist to assist the company in creating strong relationships with suppliers. The sourcing specialist’s responsibilities include sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices and advising upper-level staff members on which suppliers to contract with. You should be able to maintain and update the supplier database and find alternative suppliers if the existing ones are unable to meet their obligations. To be a successful sourcing specialist, you should be able to work with the relevant departments to ensure that costs remain within budget. A high-performing sourcing specialist should be able to develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance sourcing strategies. Sourcing Specialist Responsibilities: • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers. • Negotiating price, quantity, and manufacturing schedules with suppliers. • Working with our platform to sign in each manufacturer and help to upload products, sign terms and conditions relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
