PART TIME - Venture Capital Intern for Online Business Acquisitions

I work with a boutique venture capital firm specializing in acquiring and scaling online businesses, including content websites, SaaS companies, social media accounts, and mobile apps. They are committed to innovation, data-driven decision-making, and fostering entrepreneurship. I have been tasked to hire a PART TIME, motivated and analytical Venture Capital Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in sourcing, analyzing, and evaluating potential business acquisitions. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about online businesses, financial and market analysis.
As an intern, you will play a key role in the acquisition process by identifying opportunities, conducting in-depth research, and providing actionable insights to help drive strategic investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deal Sourcing: Research and identify online businesses, content websites, SaaS companies, social media accounts, and mobile apps that align with our acquisition criteria.
• Data Capture: Capture and save key information about each target company into our database.
• Financial Assessment: Conduct financial modeling, evaluate revenue streams, and assess growth potential for potential acquisitions.
• Due Diligence: Collaborate with the team to conduct due diligence, reviewing key metrics, customer data, and operational details of target companies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to refine acquisition strategies and contribute to portfolio growth.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and market research tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
