Contest Brief

I'm seeking a talented graphic designer to create enticing cover art for my upcoming Kickstarter project. The artwork should embody a modern and sleek Christmas theme, contrasting traditional visuals with a minimalist aesthetic.

Key Elements:
- The cover art may prominently feature a Christmas tree, a snowman, and/or Christmas gift. It could use Saint Nicholas, or his Sleigh and bag, etc. But NO cheap cartoons. High quality images only.
- It should also incorporate both the project title and the tagline in a harmonious and visually appealing way.
---Project Title: "6th Annual Christmas Dice!"
---Tagline: "Secret Santa Style!"
- It must include all 7 standard dice types. Please refer to "Important Note" below.
- It should have 2 sections in bottom corners where text exists that can be changed out for various options. For example: "8 Days Only!", "Final 48 Hours!", "Funded in Under 1 Hour!", "Ships in time for Christmas!" etc. These text items must be delivered in PNG format at the correct size so we can swap them out as needed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is no photo of the product to feature, it is a mystery what items will be sent as rewards. We need you to communicate this "mystery product" as a feature of the art.
Therefore cover art can and should indicate dice (as in a dice set), but it cannot show ANY dice set at all. Only wire frame dice or silhouettes or similar.

Size:
-Initial item must be 3200 x 1800 size. This is the size submissions should be in, and first exports.
-Once a winner is chosen, the art must be re-rendered in the 3 following sizes: Facebook - 851 x 315; Twitter - 1500 x 500; Instagram 1080 x 1080.

Ideal Skills:
- Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating modern, sleek designs.
- Experience with creating Kickstarter cover art or similar project visuals.
- Excellent typography skills to integrate text seamlessly into the artwork.

Logo in the files is NOT required to be used, but may be of some value.

FEEDBACK ON ENTRIES:
I will offer regular feedback on entries and rate them as follows:
1 star - will also get rejected.
2 star - likely to get rejected, just doesn't work.
3 star - in consideration. Not perfect, not wrong. A decent guide for other submissions.
4 star - a winner will be selected from one of these. Excellent.
5 star - Only the winner will be marked as 5-stars, usually on the last day or after the contest ends. If you see it, you won!

Please do not use AI, but actually create something beautiful.

We will end the contest early if we find a winner early. Thank you.

    Remember: Above all, it MUST show all 7 dice shapes (the standard in a 7-die dice set) Do your research on what those specific shapes are. Wireframes have been added to the entries, but they need not be used exactly; alternatives and 3d versions may be used.. Please also do not show any "Actual dice". If it looks like a full color die with numbers on it it will be given a lower rating than it may otherwise deserve.

    Also, if it has NO indication of dice, it will be rejected.

    Thank you everyone for your submissions. Here's an update!

    1) The dice must prominently featured!
    2) Fun images where dice are the focus are favored. Characters focused on the dice, or dice so clearly the focal point, that we focus on them are winning.
    3) Low quality cartoon art will result in a 1 or 2 star max.
    4) We usually reject AI entries, as most are authentically insulting. But if the background art is made with AI, and the rest is editable by you (the dice, etc) that works. AI does not convert images to different orientations well, and so AI can't be trusted to export the additional sizes in a reliable and matching fashion. Thus real work is best.
    5) Minimalist, or delightful scenes (total opposites) both seem to work for us. Images with tons of somewhat random features and too busy on the eyes will not win.

    Finally, please note: AI submissions with broken dice or letters that don't actually exist will be rejected and reported to Freelancer.com for account banning.

      Images with 3d depth have stood out. They've been mostly AI driven, but they're still nice. You'll note only 2 4-star entries so far. One is minimalist, one is a scene. Either could win for us at this point. Thank you.
