Objective
To develop custom software that streamlines the photography process in a snow park by automatically transferring photos from a Nikon camera to a PC and organizing them into customer-specific folders based on QR code wristband scans.
This system ensures seamless organization of photos, enabling customers to quickly view and select their pictures for purchase.
Scope
The software will:
1. Transfer photos wirelessly from a Nikon camera to a PC once clicks are completed.
2. Enable QR code scanning to link customer wristbands to specific folders.
3. Automatically sort and organize photos into the respective folder upon QR code scanning.
4. Support multiple photos for a single customer while handling multiple customers simultaneously.
5. Ensure real-time, error-free performance to maintain business efficiency.
Deliverables
1. A desktop application compatible with Windows (cross-platform if required).
2. Integration with Nikon cameras for automatic, wireless photo transfer.
3. QR code scanning module linked to dynamic folder mapping.
4. Real-time sorting of photos into customer-specific folders.
5. User-friendly admin interface for monitoring and managing the system.
6. Database for storing and managing QR code mappings and photo folder logs.
How It Works
1. Photo Capture:
• Photographers use Nikon cameras to capture customer photos in the snow park.
• Once the photos are clicked, they are automatically transferred wirelessly to a central “Incoming” folder on the PC.
2. QR Code Mapping:
• Each customer wears a QR code wristband linked to their profile or unique folder.
• When the customer wants to view their photos, their wristband QR code is scanned.
3. Photo Organization:
• The software identifies all photos clicked by the photographer.
• It moves the relevant photos from the “Incoming” folder to the customer’s specific folder based on the scanned QR code.
4. Customer Interaction:
• The system allows the customer to view their folder immediately after the scan.
• Photos can then be selected for purchase or printed.
