I am a dedicated and passionate individual with diverse experience in academic support, behavioral therapy, and church leadership. Currently, I serve as an Academic Specialist in the Center for Africana Studies at Kean University, where I work closely with faculty and students to promote academic success and support various departmental initiatives. Previously, I worked as a Behavior Therapist at a counseling organization, providing therapeutic support to individuals and helping them overcome personal challenges. This role sharpened my ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide effective guidance to clients. In addition to my role as an Academic Specialist, I have gained substantial experience at the Office of Africana Studies at the university, where I contributed to program initiatives first as a Student Assistant, and later as an Academic Specialist. These roles involved supporting students, assisting with academic projects, and helping to foster a vibrant learning environment. Outside of academia, I am deeply involved in my local church community. I currently serve as the Church Sub-Treasurer, a position I have held for several years. Additionally, I have contributed to the church in various leadership roles, including Sunday School Teacher, Women's Secretary, and Women's President. These roles have allowed me to develop strong leadership and organizational skills while working with diverse groups of people in a faith-based setting. With a strong background in academic and community leadership, as well as behavioral therapy, I am committed to helping individuals achieve personal and academic growth while contributing positively to the organizations I am part of.
